Founded on June 13, 2008 upon the approval of Chongqing Municipal Government, Chongqing (Yubei) Taishang Industrial Park covers a planned area of 35 km²including Huixing group (10 km²)and Shiping group(25 km²). It is not only one of the three major electronic industrial bases under the municipal planning, as well as an important base for receiving industrial transfer from eastern China.
重庆（渝北）台商工业园于2008年6月13日由市政府批准成立，规划面积35平方公里，分回兴、石坪两大组团，其中回兴组团约10平方公里，石坪组团约25平方公里。是重庆市规划建设的三大电子信息产业基地之一，也是重庆市承接东部产业转移的重要基地。
Featuring Taiwan-funded enterprises, the Park focuses on PC manufacturing, e-information, household appliances, bio-pharmaceuticals, new materials and outsourcing services industries. It sets the goal for Taiwan-funded enterprises accounting for 60% of the settled enterprises in the park with an industrial output above 50 billion yuan by 2015.
园区坚持突出台资台企特色，大力发展计算机制造、信息家电、生物医药、新材料、服务外包等产业，力争台资企业占比达60%以上，到2015年工业总产值突破500亿元。
