Eight expressways(Chengdu-Chongqing, Chongqing-Suining, Chongqing-Wusheng, Chongqing-Lingshui, Chongqing-Yichang, Chongqing-Changsha, Chongqing-Guiyang, Chongqing-Shanghai) crisscross in Yubei. The municipal inner-ring highway, mid-ring highway, belt-way, 3rd-ring highway all run through Yubei.

Three urban light rails (No.3, No.6 and No.9)which are under construction run through Yubei downtown area. Two planned urban light rails (No.8 and No.15)will run through Longxing Industrial Park.
